"U sugghiu" an amphibious and anthropomorphic creature that inhabits the marine and marshy waters around Catania, was last sighted in 2013. A monster, the offspring of a demon and an extinct creature, it is said to feed on human flesh. It is ancient, shapeless, constantly remodeling itself to elude the gaze.
